PRACTICE UPDATE:
As with everyone, our world has been turned upside down by COVID19 and we would like to update you on progress so far at the Clinic.
All of our staff here have been working tirelessly since February this year to ensure that we have all the safety measures in place to make your visit to our practice low risk.
All members of staff adhere to a strict PPE policy and interactions with clients on-site are minimal and kept at a safe 2m distance in line with current government guidelines. Other measures we have taken include:
Not allowing clients in the building – something we have found quite hard because we pride ourselves on providing a friendly, personal and welcoming service. Instead, we have created a “drop and go” system… we have tried to make this as user friendly as possible. Simply drop your cat off with a member of staff at the main foyer. This applies to both urgent and non-urgent appointments.
On booking your appointment you will receive a questionnaire via email – this is a straightforward survey which should be filled out and brought with you to your appointment. It’s designed so the vets can gain a clinical history prior to examining your cat.
When your cat has been checked over our vet will call you with the findings and explain any treatment plans. After medication (if required) has been dispensed, a member of our reception team will call you to arrange returning your cat safely to you at the main foyer.
In addition to wearing PPE and cleaning surfaces in between patients, we disinfect your cat carriers on arrival and when your cat leaves, which is our standard operating procedure to uphold a high level of sanitisation.
