Head Vet and Partner

Sarah started SimplyCats in 2009 with Paul, her life and business partner, as they felt cats needed their own exclusive clinic. Her passion for cats has lasted since she adopted her first stray as a newly qualified vet and she’s loved working with them ever since! She has two ginger cats at home, in addition to horses, dogs, goldfish and children.

After graduating as a vet and 17 years of working in mixed practices, including caring for exotic Zoo animals, Paul pursued his second passion: feline care.  

Paul is currently in charge of the clinic’s house call services and also helps out with in-clinic care. He’s passionate about making this the best cat-only practice it can be! Paul ensures that all our vets, nurses, and support staff stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and technology — always with a focus on preserving the personal touch that makes our care so special.

Practice Manager

Gayle is our people person…….. whilst everyone here looks after your cats, she looks after the team! Having managed our online sister company PetStoreo since 2016, Gayle joined us in the clinic in the summer of 2021.  She spends most of her time juggling work and her children, and the shenanigans of their tabby cat Piper

Veterinary Surgeon

Carys has loved cats since a displaced feline moved in with her family when she was six – so much so that she decided to become a vet soon after! She graduated from vet school in 2017, and has also volunteered at her local cat shelter. She has two rescue cats Khoshekh and Azriel, and enjoys fell-walking, novels and arts and crafts.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Kirsty has worked in the veterinary industry her whole career both in and out of practice and up and down the UK. She joined the team at Simply Cats in 2020 after deciding that working with fabulous felines was a great career move. She is interested in all things cat and has a keen interest in our older patients. Kirsty has her own feline gang at home who take up much of her spare time!!

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Rachel has been in the veterinary industry her whole career, and joined the Simply Cats team in January 2024, after working in both independent and charity run practices/hospitals. 
When she's not looking after your gorgeous feline friends, she's spending time with her horse Magnum, catering to all of his demands! 

Head Receptionist

Caroline has been a key member of the SimplyCats family ever since we first opened our doors in May 2009. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her three cats.. Maisey, Toby and Poppy, as well as beekeeping, gardening and playing bass guitar.

Animal Care Assistant and Receptionist

Julie has been a client of ours since we very first opened and has recently adopted 2 rescue Sphynx cats called Bruce and Lilly.  When she's not with us or spending time with her family, Julie can be found at home catching up on DIY in her garden

Marina describes her love of cats as 'complete crazy cat lady' making her role here at SimplyCats perfect! 

She is a personal slave to her tabby cat Alfie and two Cockapoos Hamish and Ollie, who are the loves of her life... the other love of her life is her husband, obviously! 

When Marina is not looking after cats or hairdressing (her other talent!), she enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Animal Care Assistant

Emma joined the Simply Cats team in spring 2023, She has always had a
love for animals making this her perfect role. Outside of work, Emma
enjoys spending time with her family, Four rescue cats, Mouse, Maximus,
Peanut & Bowser, as well as time at the yard with her horse Phoenix.
